Dr. Anil K Rajvanshi has been director of Nimbkar Agricultural Research Insitute (NARI) at Phaltan, Maharashtra.He developed “NOORIE" a multifuel one and runs on kerosene, diesel and low concentration ethanol. Dr. Rajvanshi and his group established probably one of the largest multidisciplinary research program in the world on sweet sorghum for ethanol production. In 2001, Dr. Rajvanshi received the prestigious Jamnalal Bajaj Award. In 1998 Dr. Rajvanshi was inducted in the prestigious U.S. based Solar Hall of Fame.He received FICCI Annual Award (2001-2002) for rural development.
Prof. Subhash C. Mishra is the Dean of Academic Affairs of IIT Guwahati. Prof. Mishra has more than 120 research publications in peer reviewed journals and conferences. He has guided more than 50 students. Prof. Mishra is a recipient of the prestigious research fellowship of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Germany and a Fellowship by Invitation of the Japan Society for Promotion of Sciences (JSPS). He is the (Honorary) Advisor of DAAD, Germany. Prof. Mishra executed the responsibility as the Chairman of the 3rd All India Students’ Conference on Science and Spiritual Quest (AISSQ-2007) that was held at Tirupati, India during 22-23 December 2007.
