Jamshedpur, May 27: Budding talents from Jharkhand might soon fulfil their dreams of becoming popular Bollywood singers. Mumbai-based Shashank Film Private Ltd is set to nurture singing talents of the state. The company owner, Sunil Kapoor, who was in the city today, said the company has tied up with city-based Event.com, an event management firm, for selecting budding singers who would be selected through a talent hunt to be organised at Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad and Bokaro. “The venues for the mega talent hunt programme is yet to be selected. In the steel city, the talent hunt programme would be organised on June 15,” said Kapoor. There would be no cash rewards. The first three selected candidates would be given a chance to perform in a music video album which would be shot in various picturesque locations across the state. Refusing to divulge the name of the new music album, Kapoor said his production unit has earmarked a budget of Rs 60 lakh for preparing the new music album. Kapoor said: “Through such talent hunt programmes conducted once in a year, three singing talents from Jharkhand would be selected to perform in video music albums.”
