Jamshedpur, March 15 (Source: The Telegraph): The Gramshree Mela at Gopal Maidan has something new on offer this year.
A kiosk selling 3D hollow art images has caught everyone’s attention right from the first day of the fair that kicked off yesterday.
Conceptualised by Udaipur-based Magic Vision India and promoted by Discovery Art of Haryana, the images conceal pictures of gods and goddesses apart from religious symbols. One just needs to concentrate on a certain point of the pictures to get a glimpse of a 3D or 5D image, which is normally not visible.
This is not all. Known as the dhyan yantra or meditation photos, the creations are also useful for vision therapy, meditation and stress management.
Magic Vision India is the only place in India where these innovative products are manufactured, the process and technique remaining a mystery with designers Akash Choyal and Amit Kumar alone knowing the secret.
“You just have to concentrate on a certain point on the photograph and within a few seconds, you can make out an image inside it. Some pictures have single view while others offer mirror images. These are not mere objects of entertainment, but also good exercise tools for eyes as well as they act as stress-buster,” said Rahul Sharma, a representatives of Discovery Art.
As the dealers point out, they also help improve concentration and one should focus on the images at least twice a day.
Priced between Rs 100 and Rs 200, 15 pieces were sold on the first day of the fair. The products are made up of plywood with special prints on them. The images vary from Shivlinga and goddess Durga to Jesus Christ.
