Mango is a city and a notified area in East Singhbhum district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. As of 2001 India census, Mango had a population of 166,091. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Mango has an average literacy rate of 70%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76%, and female literacy is 63%. In Mango, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
