Haneef's case was weak, show Australian ducuments
The Australian police orchestrated to have Mohamed Haneef, wrongly accused of involvement in the failed UK car bombings, indefinitely detained in the country despite their own intelligence revealing the case was weak. Documents released under freedom-of-information laws have revealed that at the time Mohamed Haneef was charged with a terrorism-related offence, the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions was aware that the case against him was weak, a report said.

Jaipur: 3 more sketches released
The sketches had been prepared on the basis of preliminary investigations into the blasts and descriptions given by owners of shops selling bicycles, bags and ball bearings which were used in the explosions, SP (North) R.Suhas told PTI in Jaipur on Thursday night.

Godhra riots probe digs up bones at village
Bones suspected to be of victims of post-Godhra riots were found by a Supreme Court-appointed investigation team at Ode village in Anand district of Gujarat during an excavation of the place, sources involved in the operation said. The SIT has been conducting a search operation since a couple of days at three sites at Ode village where about 25 people were killed by rioters six years ago.

E-mail owning up Jaipur blasts is far from real
Disclosing this on Thursday, Uttar Pradesh ADG of Police Brij Lal who also heads the state Special Task Force, told rediff.com, "The bicycle used in the blast looks like a racing model with a straight handle while the one visible on the e-mail was an ordinary one." "Furthermore, while reports from Jaipur suggested that the explosives used in the blast were tied to the handle of the bicycle, the e-mail visuals show explosives planted on the bicycle carrier at the back."
